Honest partnership – from idea to finished product with professional expertise

Complete solutions for aluminium and stainless steel structures
Alumech Ltd offers a complete manufacturing chain from raw materials to finished, inspected assemblies. Our operations are guided by the audited management system ISO9001:2015 and environmental certificate ISO14001:2015.
The welding assembly is supervised by IWE (International Welding Engineer) and IWS (International Welding Specialist) personnel working at the company. Our welding production is supervised in accordance with the EN ISO3834-2 standard.
The company has extensive experience in mechanical assemblies. We can offer our customers a ready-made product, which means that they receive a fully assembled product without having to invest heavily in managing their supply chain and coordinating logistics schedules. We take care of everything on behalf of the customer and independently resolve any problems that arise during installation.
Specialist in demanding welded aluminium and stainless steel structures
Extensive expertise in aluminium and stainless steel (SS) welding and component manufacturing. Welding aluminium and stainless steel requires considerably more in terms of methods and personnel than joining basic steel. In addition to traditional manual welding, we use MIG robotic welding cells and friction stir welding (FSW) to support the efficiency of aluminium production.

FSW technology: Modern friction stir welding – superior quality and strength for aluminium joints
Alumech Ltd offers FSW (Friction Stir Welding) as its special expertise. It is a state-of-the-art method that differs completely from traditional fusion welding. In the FSW process, aluminium parts are joined together using mechanical friction and pressure without melting the material.
Our production is capable of joining large aluminium profile fields using friction stir welding. The largest pieces are almost four metres wide and 13 metres long. (4 x 13 m). The most efficient material thickness for FSW production is from 3 mm onwards.
Blanking and pre-manufacturing: High-quality, dimensionally accurate sheet metal blanks
A high-quality welded structure requires perfectly fitting parts. Alumech’s modern machinery and versatile cutting methods ensure that every blank is dimensionally accurate, whether it is a thin sheet or a heavier structural component.
We use high-quality, powerful (20 kW) fibre lasers. The working areas of the fibre lasers are 1.5 x 3 m and 2.5 x 8 m.
Material thicknesses range from 0.5 to 30 mm, depending on the material grade. We mainly work with aluminium, stainless steel and acid-resistant steel. We are also a HARDOX partner for SSAB, which offers a wide range of wear plates.

Cutting – Precision bent into shape
The cut blanks are shaped using our modern press brakes, which can efficiently bend laser-cut blanks from one metre to eight metres in length. Our largest press brake can bend pieces with a force of 750 tonnes.
For curved shapes and straightening pieces, we use a mangle with a maximum width of 1.6 metres.
Mechanical assembly
We offer our customers a comprehensive mechanical assembly service. We deliver welded aluminium and stainless steel structures as ready-to-install units, which also include other mechanical components if required.
We resolve any manufacturing or design errors independently during installation, making the manufacturing chain as easy and flexible as possible for the customer. The customer can focus on their core expertise and developing new products.
